The Dometic Winter AIR PVC 180 M is purpose-built for demanding winter conditions. This compact inflatable awning is designed for motorhomes and incorporates thoughtful, cold-weather features — including glove-friendly zip pulls — to make winter touring smoother and more comfortable. 

Made from Dometic’s Weathershield™ PVC fabric, this robust material uses a dense 400 g/m² PVC construction, giving it the strength to withstand heavy snow and rain. It’s tested to handle up to 200L/m² per hour of rain and is rated for temperatures as low as –20 °C, ensuring it remains flexible and durable even in extreme cold.  This fabric is ideal for winter camping, offering reliable protection in snowy or cold conditions. Its PVC composition makes it low maintenance and easy to clean compared to traditional textile materials. Thanks to its strength and thickness, it delivers impressive longevity and is far less prone to wear and tear in demanding environments. It also pairs exceptionally well with air-frame awnings, helping maintain strong tension and a stable overall structure.

The Dometic Winter AIR PVC 180 M comes equipped with a range of practical features designed to enhance stability and performance in harsh weather, including a double mud wall, integrated storm straps, and heavy-duty pegs supplied as standard. Thoughtful design touches further improve cold-weather usability, such as a roll-to-side front door that offers quick, convenient access and oversized, glove-friendly zip pulls that remain easy to operate even in freezing conditions.

Inside, the Winter AIR PVC 180 M offers a generous 180 cm depth, providing plenty of space to create a setup that suits your needs. A draught skirt, roof liner and heavy-duty groundsheet help retain warmth and protect against the elements. A large front window made from Ultra-Clear PVC floods the awning with natural light, while soft-touch, daylight-shielding curtains on a durable, easy-slide track give you full control over privacy and sunlight. As evening falls, the Sabrelink™ system allows you to attach up to three lights to the front and centre air poles, with remote control for switching on, off, and adjusting brightness. For optimal airflow, Apex Ventilation vents can be opened to maintain a cosy interior while minimising condensation.

Setting up the Winter AIR PVC 180 M is simple, thanks to a single inflation point that allows for quick pitching, while multiple deflation points make packing away equally easy. The dual keder design accommodates 5 mm or 7 mm rails—or both at once—ensuring versatile attachment to your van. The Multi-Height system lets you adjust the awning to match your vehicle’s height, spanning 265–295 cm. Securing the awning is effortless with the QuickPitch™ Guying System: simply peg the bottom strap taut, then tighten the top buckle to apply the perfect tension.
