Would this awning work with a van which had barn doors instead of a tailgate?

This awning wouldn’t work with a vehicle that has barn doors, as the tailgate keeps the awning up to support the roof structure. If you attempted to use it with barn doors, then you’ll find the fabric would be sagging. Plus, a tailgate when it is up comes out deeper than the barn doors would, so it wouldn’t fit at all, unfortunately.
